Midwest Dressed

If you're from the Midwest, you know what it feels like when the summer comes to an end and the leaves start to dwindle off the trees. Our wardrobes slowly go from sun dresses and flip flops to sweaters and boots. It's my favorite time of the year, fall.

I love the food, the air is so crisp and clean... But most of all, I LOVE the fashion. You can pair a t-shirt with a scarf and guess what? It's OK! This look was so fun to shoot. The weather in Chicago was perfect today and mother nature just amplified everything with the perfect mix of greens and reds.

Let's get to the outfit breakdown. We all know I have a sunglasses addiction so my new favorite pair are these black on black Ray-Ban Aviators. My scarf is the highlight of my outfit. I purchased it at local Wicker Park boutique, KiZ Chicago. I saw it on the mannequin in the window as I was walking by. Ya, instantly purchased. I'm not usually a fan of hounds tooth but it was just too cute and full of fall not to buy.

My leather cross-body is from Marshalls. Super cheap and super cute is my motto. Jeans are a recent purchase from Target of all places. Who doesn't love Target by the way?
My white tee is from Urban Outfitters and my boots are Steve Madden.

Apart from my obsession with sunglasses, I also purchase way too many phone cases. This boho-chic baby is from Free People!

There you have it folks. A simple and easy outfit I put together in about three minutes! This weekend will bring some more fall favorites! I might do a collection of my favorite combat boots??!!
Hope you guys enjoyed!
